Is This How You Double Thump? (audio clip inside)

Sign in to disble this ad
Today I decided that I would finally learn how to double thump. So I made this: E Major

I realize it is very simple, but I'd like to know if I'm at least on the right track.

Thanks,
Graeme

Thumbs up Thumbs Up

Hi bass god , yea that sounds about right. I take it at the end in the triplet pattern your doing down up with the thumb then plucking with ur index finger? If you are try adding in your middle finger for a sixteenth feel. Also have a look at Victor Wootens website at his lessons section its got lots of nice double thump things in it.

Hey Bass god, that is perfect but just as Angus said, you should add your middle finger to get a "four-plet" on each note. If you need credentials check out the videos and songs on my site.
