Is it worth $30?
People say he's a great player but I can never hear him on Band records.

Wish I'd seen it, but I will vouch that I believe he's a great player. Some of his lines with the Band are extremely tasteful, and he even sings a lot of the time, too.

Rick Danko was a very good meat and potatoes bassist. I think the video would be good for learning his style, but I can't see it going past what he did, so I don't know if I would buy it. I think an actual non-star teaching DVD would be of much more use.
