Hungry Like the Wolf Chorus

My band are playing this song by Duran Duran and I just wanted to check with some people more in the know. Is the bassist slapping and popping the chorus? I'm not doing it that way, and I'm not really sure if the recording is played that way, but I am starting to think it is.

Anyone?

I seem to remember the first chorus was a more subdued playing style, not popping. Then the subsequent choruses had the popping.

Yeah no slapping, only popping in the second chorus. I could be wrong but I thought there was a slap lick just before the final chorus...at the end of the middle section.

Great, thanks guys.

I better start refining my slap/pop technique so it's actually presentable then.
