I almost got Tommy the Cat down. But I am verrry slow!

I can the main riff at about half speed. Yet, it is a very painfully slow process to speed it up. Its like I can't get it going at normal tempo!

Practice it slowly until you got it down very, very well and then gradually increase your speed. That is the only way.

les was a trip, we did some shows together. sometimes you couldent even tell what he was talking about, but interesting the entire time. i do not play like him, but he is still a mentor. i was a cook in a restaraunt in 1988 or 89 and the dishwasher brought in the first album and blew me away ! johnny a. staind

I have never been able to play Tommy the Cat up to speed after all these years. The first time I saw Primus I was 17. 1993 I think. He makes it look so easy! And sings too?!?!? I enjoy trying to learn songs from his other bands also. "Up on the Roof" is one of my favorites.
