Question I cant slap !!..

Hey guys .. it's my first topic here and u i wish i can make friends here, and i hope someone can help me here !..

i'm playing bass for 7 months, and i tried slap video lessons but i couldn't do it .. can u guys give me links to slap lessons ? .. I'll be thankful.

Yeah, definitely check out the stickie at the top of this page. Bassist4Life really put together an incredible thread at "The Slap Bass Welcome Center"!

Practice practice practice. Remember that muting is just as important as playing.
I tried slapping and popping my first few months of playing. I got pretty good for a beginner, but realized that it seemed like to much work for me. I have more fun with fingerstyle.
But definately don't just give up like me if you love the sound of the big bad slap n pop!

practice, practice and practice some more. definetly check out videos on technique and talk to seasoned players. but there is no substitute for experience.

I have played for about 3 years now and i noticed that slapping on the most cheap basses is carzy hard becouse of the hight of the strings..
Dont know what bass you have but i guss you might have a beginer bass?
