I have come up with a slap shred technique. What format should I post it in.

Its slap bass faster than Scott Ian (Anthrax), or Kerry King (Slayer). I am not and I REPEAT not the bassist or slap bassist that Claypool, or Wooten is. Neither do I have the technical chops of Jaco. But I have this one thing I came up with in high school to compete in friendly terms against my guitar player. High School was 11 years for me.

I have audacity. What format could I upload this track to on here?

I am trying to keep it from clipping so much. My sound card seems to be bottoming out, or something.

Wasn't Frank Bello the Anthrax bass player in question?

I think he's saying he can slap faster than Scott Ian or Kerry King can "shred"

I have a feeling this is going to sound like Fieldy on speed/crack.

Oh..man. I was trying not to get that tone, but going straight in the PC, its hard not to. This isn't the fastest I have gotten. Though it is fun to do with a drummer who is gettin it down with a double kick. Says that the attachment exceeds my quota here?

Huh...well here is a link to HCBF with it. I posted it on post "24". I am Conformer there. The link should work. http://acapella.harmony-central.com/...2562260&page=2

Sounds like we're listening to a motorboat engine sputter and then die.

Yeah, I started doing this when guitar players started doing their shred noodling...so I start doing it to keep up. Thats why I used the Ian comparison.

So what exactly is your slap shred technique? Or is it just regular slap technique, just really fast?

Hmm... so what are you doing exactly here?
I'm not sure if it's my cup of tea for a primary way to play or anything but it's a cool sound for sure!
