I have trouble playing a song fingerstyle.

This song is really hard for me to play because when I change strings, the Low String rings out, it doesn't sound bad but it doesn't sound clean. IT's also played with a pick. How would you get around this?

Rest your thumb on the E when you go to the higher string, maybe.

You could also try using a spare finger to mute the B string with your left hand. For example, use your index finger to play the B at the 7th fret A string and use your middle finger to mute the B string.

let your right hand fingers hit the low B when playing on the E... this uses the B string like a rest and also deadens it... I've always done it to get more control over my right hand... I'll know where everhting is if my fingers are always touching something

rest you thumb on the string above the one you are playing
Like wise when you hit a string, follow through till you hit the one above it (don't actually pluck it) but use the string above it as a stopper.

like
E <----- rest the thumb on the Low B or pickup
A<-------- rest the thumb on the E string

so on so forth.

It would also help you to learn how to mute strings via your left hand.
After you play the note for the desired amount of time let off the string so your just barely touching it and stopping it from ringing out.

hope this helped.
Unwanted noise is a pain but gets better with practice.

When you pluck a string, let your plucking fingers rest on the string below it afterwards. You'll mute the string instantly.

Honestly, this is the type of riff that's easier to keep clean fingerstyle than picked (okay, so all are for me, but still).
