I need a software drum machine to practice along

I have a Korg Pandora that has a beat machine. It's OK but I want something more sophisticated.

My requirements are:
1. Programmable - I want to practice some mean 7/4 or 11/8 grooves!
2. Have a variety of kits (e.g., funk, hip-hop, rock, etc.)

What would you recommend?

This one is free, windows version available too:

This is a very simple solution (java in browser), can do odd time signatures too:

I am sure you will find even more if you do a search in these forums.

Are you on mac or pc?

I don't know much about free stuff because I make a statement at buying my gear and especially software to help and respect designers who spend all their talents and time to create amazing tools for us. If you find something that works with steps programming like an old drum machine it will be the way to go like Redrum in Reason. My most amazing drums and rhythm software is RMX from spectrasonics. It doesn't come as a standalone so you need a DAW to use it but man, this thing will bring you where no-man as gone before as far as rhythms and grooves in most meters and odd-meters and variations. For real drums I like also Addictive Drums from XLN and they have great MIDI files to play with
