im new at bass and i was wondering, which is the best way to play the bass and get better sound |

If you wanted to play punk rock then your best bet would be a pick, but for metal or jazz or something, your fingers would do the best job.

The best way I have found is to play and keep playing- the more you play the more your tone will develop

How many times have we all reached the consensus that it is a matter of personal style even though we all still agree that its usually best to know how to do both so you can apply the different techniques in different situations?
