lolomgbass4lyfe, you are talking about PUNK ROCK, right? You're not trying to play Larry Graham on one string, I suppose. Half of all punk rock songs could be played on the E string alone. Tell me how you need to switch strings to play Sex and Violence! I think you're perfectly fine with playing one string alone. I have played punk rock and I know what you mean. People get upset about the technique, the instrument make, etc., but the truth is the only thing that matters is the song. If you have great songs, everything else fades away. Oh, and to punk rock I would add attitude
