I think i jammed or stressed my index finger on my fingering or something while i was playing, it hasnt gotten better after a day and i am starting to get worried. This Saturday is my first big show and i want to do well but i need to find a way to heal this finger. Any suggestions?

Healing takes time and depends on the nature of the injury, so what is jammed, and how does affect your playing?

my strumming speed is easily cut in half after like 15 minutes of playing. I hate it i am trying to write music for one band and the other i need to practice for out show

Stop playing for a week or two until you heal.
I strained my finger which caused the whole thing to freeze up and become numb it too two months to heal.
GO to rite aid or another pharmacy and get a brace so you don't move it and take a few advil each day to help with inflammation.

I'm not a doctor this is just what I did with the problem.

Hi, sorry but no where near enough information to comments, see a doctor or similarly qualified pro and get it looked at properly. Different types of injury seem similar but the treatments are totaly different, especially where the hands are concerned.
