Look into funk, acid jazz and techno music, the bass lines for both make up most of the bass lines in both. But if you want to go for the classic industrial bass sounds, look into punk rock, odly enough. As an inspiration I recomend Dorain 27 of Power Man 5000 (now flying tigers.)

The main part of industrial lines is that they are repeatitive and solid. You'll have to practice on staying steady for a while, I played a line for thirty minutes each night.
