Jaco-Continuum-Harmonics question

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,

I have found the sheet music of Continuum, at the beginning of the song, Jaco plays a harmonic chord..
Could someone tell me at what position that chord should be wel, not fretted, where you should play it, at what position at the neck..you know what I mean

Thanks alot

heya, i can't remember how the harmonics are read on the sheet music, however the chord is played over the 4rth frets on the A,D and G string (C#, F# and B).

you can also find the same harmonics at the 9th fret.

hope that helps.

I always play them at the 9th because that's where I play the rest of the song.

Alright, thanks guys, I'll start with it right away, although that solo sounds quite difficult to me...but I had the same thoughts on "Come On, Come over" too, lots of practice, starting slow..we'll get there

i've never thought of playing it there WR but I guess it's quite a smart idea! hmmm.

the solo is defiantly a handful! i still have some troubles keeping the pedal in time too! i should really start practising again

I play Continuum up there too....I think its the most comfortable positioning for that song, and contrary to what some of the tab stuff says, I've seen Jaco play it "up there" too!
