John Paul Jones' tone

I dont knwo if this goes in this forum but how do I go about achieving John Paul Jones' tone? What settings should I put on my amp? Thanks

Your ability to achieve this tone will indeed have more to do with touch & technique (i.e. playing fingerstyle near the end of the fingerboard) than it will with amp settings. That said, you should probably nudge up the lows (moderately), roll back the highs, and boost the gain settings enough to produce lots of smooth, round warmth and sustain - but not so much that you get distortion.
