left hand range of motion

hey guys. i just moved from a 4 string to a 6 string and i just wanted to know if anyone has any tips on left hand range of motion. i have small hands and i would like to improve my range of motion with going from C. to B and up and down the neck....help

come on any one have any tips on stretching or how to hold my left hand better on the neck??

Make sure your thumb is perpendicular to the neck. For me, I've found it easiest to have the very tip of my thumb just barely touching the center of the neck, so my thumb is a little closer to the C string than the B side. That seems to give me a good place to stretch from. I've also found it better to have my hand sort of cupped and my fingers stretched out and bent sort of like claws.
