so i know your supposed to play with straight wrists, however i find that when trying the fret notes on the E String in the lower register (F, F#, G, ect.) it is hard to keep a straight wrist while playing scales, or other somewhat complex patterns. i do not play with my fingers "flat" on the fretboard, they are usually "curled". i do find that i can fret notes on the D, and G string with ease while having my wrist straight.

what should i do, i really dont want to hurt myself?
