Looking for constructive critiscism on my Metallica cover?

This is a bass cover I did of For Whom the Bell Tolls. I learned it by watching videos of Cliff Burton, and by ear, I never looked up tabs or sheet music. It took about 3 days to learn. The sound quality isn't that great, I recorded it with a USB mic, and the details you shouldn't hear (like my fingers sliding against roundwounds) come through more than a normal human can hear them, and the peaks of louder notes are cut, and you can notice, especially in the intro. The vid has pics of my gear.

I'm looking for ratings, comments, constructive critiscism, and recording advice...any help appreciated

The intro has a lot more going on, you are not doing the pull off and you are missing some notes.

As for the riff it has some fills to spice it up, here, this is the master bass track:

Metallica had 3 bassists who each played the song differently, and the album version was also done differently than the way Cliff plays live, so while it may not be the best way, I think it is still a correct way (based on the album version, not the live version)

Also, for the master track, you posted a link to this page ~:-/

I know, but i thought you were going for the way cliff played it, and he does play the intro the way the recording sounds.

PD: sorry about that, here is the real link
