Hi all,
I recently finished arranging the theme tune to the Simpsons as a solo bass piece. All being well, it should appear in my solos book later in the year, but until then, I have uploaded it to my myspace site. Check it out and let me know what you think! It was recorded in one take, with a couple of small punch-ins and what you hear is a rough mix. http://www.myspace.com/stuartclayton
I'll do a video of it later as well.
Enjoy!

I dunno, though... it just, kinda, seemed to be missing the... bouncy-ness?.. of the original theme.

| | | | I you don't mind me asking, what type of royalties do you have to pay to put a book out like that. i'm sure it varies by artist but i can't imagine Metallica and 20th century Fox are cheap. Forgive me if I'm out of line here. |

I'm in the process off finding out what it's going to cost at the moment. It's issues like these that determine whether the book includes a CD, or is published at all! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

P.S. Your version is amazing.
I now officially suck.
