Find someone to play with (guitar and drums). Playing bass alone is kinda' boring...

Hey there, welcome to Talkbass! My opinion is that you will learn the quickest if you hook up with a band and start learning some tunes. If you can't find other musicians to play with, at least play along with your favorite CDs/mp3s. Good luck!

They all are very good. but me not.

But my Guitarist we don talk much, seldom talk. we just started band.

I influences by JRock.

I can say, my learning progress is very smooth now. just struck in time.. =((

Start learning your favorite songs. Google for them along with the word "btab" (bass tablature). It's much more interesting to do than simple drills. Then figure out what about those songs fits in with the theory you're learning from your teacher.
