Any iconic bass line. Money and Come Together are two that come to mind

When I was 14 a friend put a bass guitar in my hands for the first time, taught me to play Smoke on the Water and stuck me in front of 400 people at a high school basketball game to accompany him and a drummer for their halftime show.

Went well actually.

Maybe. If they've seen Animal House.

Those of you that listed "Smoke On The Water", are you refering to the correct bass line or the more well known guitar riff?

It seems that people are always confusing the two 'cause if you're going "Daa, da, daaa, Daa, daa, da, daaaa" you're doing the guitar riff!
