Question Muting with what-ever

Sign in to disble this ad
Guys, does this really work for you, wrapping something around the strings at the headstock to mute, I have tried my daughters hair ribbons, "the thick ones" etc but I find I still need to use my right hand for the most part to mute the strings. Anyone??

Man, last week there was a thread on this. Some guy bought some really thick hair scrunchies at wal-mart. Check the forums for technique maybe?

I've tried the Hair-Thingy before and didn't like it. I ended up buying some felt mutes to go close to the bridge. But, I think the Hair-Thingy is meant to help in muting while Slapping. It still lets the strings ring, but keps it under control.
