the action on my bass the action is diffrent because on my E sting is closer to my fret board then the rest of the strings and then A is closer but not as close as my E and well in the end my strings from the lower the string the lower action it has, so basicly my E string has low action and my G has high action ....(if i didnt make sense dont bash me lol ) and wqhen i play i only use my pick ups as thumb rests like when i want a clanky sound on my bass like the live robert trijillo sound(from metallica)i play my e string on the neck pickup and like im press down on my stringsso they can hit the pick up and give me a clangy sound...and when i want a nice "warmer" sound is what you call it i think i use my bridge pickup and pluck up...and i also play my bass really low so i can extand my rigth arm so it doesnt get cramped as easy....sould i change anything? and dont bash me for my spelling >.<

If youre comfortable with it all, which it sounds like it, then youre set. Though I raised my bass, via strap, to about upper stomach level and my playing increased immensely.
2. Using proper punctuation, and new paragraphs helps immensely. Im not bashing, Im telling you from experience.

Its difficult to change the way you play a bass, because we all have our image we want to put across..but playing a bass way down low is no good for efficient playing..especially solos..how low do you wear your bass?

Looking cool is nice and all, but good playing will get you much farther. Pull up your bass, your speed will increase, along with solos and accuracy. If you dont like it after a week or two, put it back.
Worth a shot, eh?
