Need Tapping Instruction

I have been playing around with tapping for a while and I haven't gotten to far with it. Are there any good books or videos that have exercises for finger independence and correct technique?

It helps if you know a little about theory, like scales etc.

I don't really have any trouble with music theory, its the technique itself that I need help with.

I'm not much of a tapper myself but, try playing the same scale in 2 octaves at the same time. It will make you divide your mind but not in the complex way other things would.

Honestly the first thing i learned how to tap was the linus and lucy stu hamm thing Its obviously really hard and took me a long time to do but it will help your tapping. At first I just did each hand untill I could do it smoothly very slow then combined both hands going even slower and worked and worked. It took like 3 months before I could play it.
