So, I play fingerstyle with my index, middle, and ring finger on the right hand. I have a hard time keeping them straight, which seems to slow me down some (example: A Certain Shade of Green throws me off, yet shouldn't). Any tips on how to maintain straight fingers when playing?
Cheers!

Lubbock eh? I spent a year in Lubbock.

You mean straight as in, straight as an arrow r: straight as in, you can't seem to coordinate the 3 fingers?

If you mean straight as an arrow: just correct the problem by being cognizant of it when you practice. Over time you will train your fingers not to follow whatever habit you have developed just as you developed the habit.

If you mean straight as in coordinate: I wouldn't worry about it too much. Keep practicing and you will get better. I'm sure people have posted various exercises hear to improve with. I play with 3 fingers as well but don't notice much difference in speed versus 2 fingers. It comes in handy playing chords and tapping if you like that sort of thing.
