I had no idea who the guy was until I looked him up on the net. Just from the videos I saw I was impressed. So the GTG comes around he plays with Jauqo. I was floored. He told me that he played bass before the accident. I wish Id heard him before that. Im sure it took a bit of uhm adjustment to play that way. Say what you will. THe man has overcome a handicap. I dont mean to use that word but its the only way I could describe it. If i lost an arm or fingers. Id probably just give up. But he didnt!!! After the GTG i had a chance to jam with. I dont know how I did it. IT was not easy keeping up with him. And of course being a bass player, hes a cool guy. |
