I freakin love this video. It gives me hope; if I ever lose a hand somehow, It's still possible to be a sick bass player.

Also, is this guy using a fretless? It sounds like it, but I can't tell if those are frets or fret markers.

It's a mute to keep things clean when tapping (i.e. all the time, in his case).
