The Orange Catholic Bible for Bassists

I was reminded of a quote from Dune today when I realized for the first time ever that my left hand is pushing too hard on the strings and was causing the weird sound on a certain note that I thought was my bass's fault. The quote:

If I can learn to control this I bet my hand won't cramp as fast. Since I am self-taught I am likely to possess quite a lot of "deafness" like this...
