So just recently my index finger on my right hand has been skinless at the fingertip (I don't remember how this happened), and it's driving me insane. Bandages won't stay on and I can hardly practice. Any tips?

Seriously though...we've all been there. I usually just played through it unless I was bleeding haha. Is this a bass-related injury? Mine always were...my first marathon practice session with my first band, then a few more times when I started gigging a lot on my upright. |

Repeat once or twice, and you'll be playing again in no time. Also, get that middle finger involved in plucking. You've got spares!

| | | | @paco Not when you're doing an insanely fast slap-pop line. I think that might have been what done it.
@Shadow I literally cannot use my finger to play because of the pain D:
@Ace Where do I get that?

Take your pick. | So superglue works too? Ha, I don't have crazy glue but I do have superglue. Do I just apply it to the wound? How much?

| | | superglue = crazy glue = cynoacrylate glue
Same stuff.
Put a tiny dab on your affected digit, use another damp digit to rub it around if it won't dry fast enough (damp so it doesn't stick).
It's safe for your skin, it's what doctors and vets use when they don't want to use stitches. Don't put it over puncture wounds or glue yourself together (cause if the wound is the least bit dirty, you get a *nasty* infection.......trust me.....ewww....did it...). and make sure it's dry before you touch anything
Fingernail polish remover (acetone type) or straight acetone will remove it.
