Patrice Guers' Three Fingers Technique

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi! I have a doubt with the right hand technique of this great bass player. Here it's a video:

YouTube - ‪Patrice Guers (official) : Erian's Mystical Rhymes à Forges les Bains‬‏

I think he do: R-M-I or I-M-R, he doesn't alternate the middle fingers to do R-I-M-I or I-M-R-M. But, I don't understand how does he do to realise what finger make the stresst or the begining of the sequence when he does a string skipping. He's totally relaxed and IMO he doesn't think about what finger is going to fall. I really want to play like him, the tapping session I do exactly like him, but the fingering is really confusing.

Sorry for my English, but I speak Spanish. Greetings!
