Hello everyone. I jsut got a shortscale bass, which makes me want to play a lot of Beatles tunes. Does anyone know what Paul's normal playing style was?

Paul had many playing styles, but usually plays with a pick. He used a thinner pick to get a softer sound, and used a harder pick to get harder sounds. A good tune to try would be "Taxman" or "Something".

I seriously feel like such a douchebag. I openly and sincerely apologize to everyone on this board for forgetting that Paul was a lefty. I also thank you for not even really being that harsh considering what a stupid comment that was. Sorry again. And thanks for the other response as well.

Meh... don't be embarrassed. Paul played quite a bit with a pick, close to the bridge. On his Hofner, it sounded great.
