I don't post much but I have above amp and I was wondering if anyone else does and what settings they like? I know this isn't a blow your head off amp but when I turn it up, I get some horrific buzzing (that I think are my heating ducts). Anyway, does anyone plug straight in and let it rip?

it is my bedroom practice amp ... I play passive J's and set the post gain full on, and the pre is the volume I use ... it generally never gets past 2-3 ... I have my Minx sitting on its side atop an Avatar 112 (not plugged in) which puts it just about at my ear level when sitting on a stool in front of it ... no need to crank it, remember this is practice, so I want to hear all the little nuances of my playing with detail and clarity ... by the way, all EQ is set 'flat' at 12:00 ... IMO this is the perfect B/R practice amp, cheap, clear and easy ...

Mine is on the floor. I think I'll try raising it up some and giving it a shot. Thanks for the input tjh.
