Ok i'm playing around with some new techniques and i remembered this video of Victor Wooten doing "Amazing Grace"
Between around 2:23 and 2:38 he's does a sort of percussive slap on the last beat of the bar in between the note playing.
How is this achieved? the camera never gets a shot of his hands when he's doing it.
