yo, i like to use 2 fingers when i play my bass, but i just joined a new band, and the other ppl in the band told me that picks work better for bass, what do u guys think, should i go pick, or tell em to shut it?

well, depends on what kindof band you're playing in...But saying that pics work better is mumbo jumbo. Sure, it's easier, but I play in a metalband myself and I don't use any pics, I think fingerstyle is just much more versatile. It really depends on the style you're playing. Try em both and see what fits you best when playing. Just go you're own way and don't listen to those ignorant bass-nitwits
