He uses amps with a very high-powered tweeter installed, not sure what kind.
His mids are completely gone, he turns up his bass to around 3 o'clock and everything that could possibly be considered treble to 11. Not 11 o'clock. But 11.
I don't like KoRn, I only know this because my band has a song where we go into this tuning. It's called "Drop-KoRn" and it is mostly about poop.

I think I've actually seen an interview where he said something along the lines of "Throw away the midrange, no one needs that sh**."

| | | ah
not saying i was going to play like that but just wanted to know how its done... its a different style to play and im open for all of them
so... im going to try at least a few times.
ps. If a singer is a good singer or not, imho, its more like... personal preferences. (appart from false notes or something like that) So not too agressive about singers. it's just a style-thing if u ask me. besides that... whats wrong with it? i think all kinds of voices should be out there... just for the diversity. o well... enough babbling... thnq all |

Im not going to continue this bickery. In the end were all musicians, and hey we are bassists we gotta have a brotherhood. Let the Guitards argue over who is better thats not what we do, or at least not what I do. TRUCE?

| | | i dont understand what all the fuzz is about.
There are peeps playing a noseflute on the theme of police academy number 34252314 and noone complains about that...
its just perfectly fine fieldly is playing. and if you dont like the style of anyone or anything ignore it. and if they ask you what your opinion is, tell it to the one person that asks...
but just clicking into this topic to say "fieldy sucks" and "the singer of korn is a whiner" then i think somthing is wrong with you.
respect others, so they'll respect you too !
*plz close topic.... i know enough 'bout this topic |
