Playing the strings strongly

Hello, I like Cliff Burton's tone, and I play the strings strongly: my amp sounds ' blop '.

What can I do ?

I really like my technique, because if I play smoothly the metal sound is dead.

The term is "digging in".....maybe you need to get an amp with more headroom on the input stage?

Would help to know your bass and amp/cab.

I use chromes lately because I like to dig in as well.

Chromes seem a little lighter on pickup output to me, so maybe that would help, too.

You might also lower your pickups a couple mm.

the amp is not the first one i'd think of for metal. you need more speaker area and wattage. a 300-500w amp with a 410 (a nice cheap rig you can throw together used anywhere in the world) would be the way to go for now.
