I only use fingers and slap/pop. I havent used a pick since i first started, and i probably never will. I feel that playing without a pick allows a variety of techniques to be used and i can play muh faster with 4 or 5 fingers than with one pick.

yea i hear you man but i dont use a pick at all. there is just so much sounds you can get with your bare hand, you can make a pick noise with your finger nails, so remember that the next time you forget your pick for you gig
