| I had the great fortune of studying with Alexis back in the late 80's and I can tell you that he's got some of the finest muting technique you'll ever find. if you look at the video samples, pay attention to how he uses his right hand to keep the strings from making excessive noise while squeezing out just the right amount of note with his left. a great player and and even better teacher!
