Popping exercises?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,

I am currently having a lot of trouble popping with consistency in tone and time. When I pop it feels almost like my index finger is getting caught in the string, especially when popping the D string.
This popping ineptitude is made particularly obvious when playing simple octave patterns.

Does anyone know any exercises that focus specifically on popping? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
