Question for Yves Carbonne

If Mr. Carbonne ever reads this ...

I was listening to your demo track on the accugroove website, and trying to learn to play it.

As a relative beginner to the bass, how do you get your ghost notes to sound so clean and crisp? They add an incredible amount of feel to the groove, and without getting them down pat, I can't get it anywhere near sounding the way you play it (never mind I'm trying to do this on a fretted bass, but I hope to come alot closer than what Im doing now ...)

Any suggestions?

It would probably be easier to reach him there.

EDIT: Listening to it now. I love how Manring made a cameo in the picture

Well - I play this with the mag bridge pickup, with a light touch close to the bridge. I use Aguilar OBP3 in my basses, with mids set on 400 hertzs. I sometimes put some mids and a little bass on the bass, but let the highs flat.
Hope it helps.
Thank you
