Reccomend some good songs/riffs

I'm starting to learn slapping and popping and am already learning the intro to higher ground, does anybody have some other good song recommendations for this technique?

Higher ground is good to start with. If you like RHCP, you can use a LOT of Flea's riffs. Stu Hamm is really good at it, too.

Check out "Take the power back" by Rage Against The Machine. since i know you like RHCP, check out "Aeroplane". 311's P-Nut is pretty badass at slapping too, "Feels so good". Listen to alot of old school funk. Also check out the band "The No Tell Nothing", that bassist is pretty dope
