I've been getting into reggae and dub alot more. What sorts of things can I do to get a sweet reggae/dub bass sound and style.

roll off as much treble as possible without losing all of your attack. flats will give you a more classic 70s reggae tone, but rounds are also common.

Reggae is not technically complex music.
In fact, the biggest error most American musicians make when playing it is to overcomplicate thier parts. Simple is generally good here.

Listen to a lot of classic reggae.
Copy the basslines. Get the feel. You'll do fine.

Try playing downstokes with your thumb. Looks lazy sounds fat.

There's actually been quite a few reggae/dub threads that'll probably explain it better:

Reggae and Dub Primer by kesslari
How do you play reggae bass?

Those two have a wealth of info.
