Right handed vs Left handed

OK, I'm left handed and it feels way more comfortable to play on a right handed instrument.

Wouldn't it make more sense to do the fretting with your dominant hand anyway?

Anyway, my theory is that there are probably right handers out there who would feel more comfortable playing a left handed bass, with their dominant hand doing the fretting, instead of getting stuck with the simple task of plucking or popping away with two fingers or a pick or a thumb.

My guitarist is also MORE COMFORTABLE playing right handed instruments even though he is left handed.

According to my own mind, we are both incredible musicians... possibly due partially to our dirty left handed secret.

I think they got it backwards when they invented guitars. Am I insane?

No but plucking isn't as simple as it might seem. If it works, it works.

+1, although after years of playing, I can't even imagine fretting with my right hand
