What are they used for a type of sound, for wrist development, or ??? Rubber sound to me like it would be a dull sound. I remember awhile back using stone picks to help develop your wrist. Felt picks were used quite a bit for pick players to get a softer more finger like sound, but they wore out real fast.

I have a bunch of em, but I mainly use em for acoustic guitar, ie. when I record ac. git. and dub them over and over again, to not get to many "attacks" I use rubber picks on the lionpart of em, and then have one or two takes with the "front guitars" that I play with normal picks.

Got 4 different thicknesses, and I have no idea where they are manufactured, bought them in a local store some years ago.

The ones I know of are made by "Wedgie" and you buy them online @ Musicians Friend:

I use them the same as others use felt picks; that is to get a bit more of a fingerstyle sound and/or a pick sound with less attack.
