Hey guys!
I just have a question about slap/popping... this is not asking about how to slap.
I can slap/pop pretty well, but there's a problem. I'm stuck in a rut when coming up with slap lines.
I can play all over the minor pentatonic, but since thats all I know, I feel like I can't expand and come up with new licks, etc.
What are some popular slap scales, chord progressions, etc..
to get me out of this "pentatonic minor rut"? |

I try and couter point my lines by flowing through the scale or mode while keeping a dynamic rythmic back beat slapping .Hope this helps a little |

My main influence is Marcus Miller, so thats why. Im not really into all the showing-off ghost noting, but it would be nice to learn as a tool someday for soloing.
I just am stuck with the same licks under the minor pentatonic scale, so I was hoping there were some more excercises or scales that could expand my arsenal haha. |

Just ways to expand my arsenal of licks and stuff. I just keep playing the same thing over and over, just in different ways. |
