Scales

I've been playing for a year and eight months now,I never tried playing scales, any scales you'de recommend??

Yeah. Major and minor. (ex: D minor), blues scale, pentatonic....theres more, but those are good for start.

Major(Ionian), Natural Minor(Aeolian), Harmonic Minor, Melodic Minor, Dorian, Mixolydian, Pentatonic Blues.

Do you play electric bass or upright bass becuase if you play upright i could give you some awesome excersies that really helped me familiarize myself with the scales all over the neck.

On electric bass though, I'd say stick to your major, minor, and blues scales all over the place until you get them, and then explore the other ones.
