Screwed up right hand technique during live gigs

I´ve got a weird problem which somewhat ruins my perfomance on gigs. When I play live, my right hand turns somewhat to the right, which makes me sound clanky, but since this kind of sound isn´t definitely what I´m going for, how can I avoid this problem?

Focus on your technique instead of the crowd? We all can get carried away when playing live, but it's important to remember your fundamentals rather than your stage show, since the stage show is worthless if you aren't playing at your full potential.

First question, do you play live in the same position you practice? Second........same strap height/bass/clothing style as when you practice?

If you practice sitting, and gig standing.....prob. If you practice leaning against a wall....prob.......

If you wear t shirts to practice and leather straps to gig.....prob....
If you wear wristband/brace at practice and not at gig (or vice versa)..prob....

There's something going on thats changing your technique.... gotta be a way to fix that

Try playing a gig with a wrist brace.

Maybe your bass is hanging to low/high at the gig.
