Singing and Playing

HYO Tbers.
need some good exercises for singing and playing.
i can sing in the same key or notes as i am playing on the bass. but with more adventures arrangements i am having some trouble.
any advice?

You almost have to approach it like a drummer. Slow it way down so you can hear exactly where everything lines up, then gradually speed it up.

Takes practice. I never had trouble with it except on rare occasions, so what I'd do is learn both parts really well and work on them slowly, sometimes painfully slow, and not speeding up until I mastered it at the slower tempo.

practise! its not an easy skill to master and you need to put in hours of work to get it to performance level.
