| | | | Sitting on amp?

So I just realized this recently but, most of the time when I'm jamming with my friends I usually sit down on my amp and use it like a rocking chair...so far it's all worked out but I was wondering if I'm alone with this or other people do too. And if it had any adverse effects (I play standing when I'm with my school's jazz band though) |

| | | Oh, don't do that. You'll get hemorrhoids. No wait, that's snow... never mind.

| | | | Your amp is for setting your beer on. |

That amp has only had one person ever sit on it -- and I thought it was an honor (a great old drummer with whom I had formed my favorite rhythm section). Me? No. Him? Yep.
But now it seems nostalgia's not what it used to be. Go for it.

| | | | Well I just sit on my little 8" one (and I'm 17 and can't stand the taste of beer so I'll have to find something else to put on it) |

Had a Sunn 1 18" that was great for sitting on when jamming. Also had a hot redhead in front of my Sunn 2 15 getting off on the vibrations.

Removed the top cover...the capacitors outer skin was worn down because the rivet from the amp's handle had, after years, punched through to the metal of the cap.
Direct short...poof!
