Buy a Larry Graham record, then buy a Marcus Miller record, etc.

Seriously, the best way to learn slap is to cop it off records. Listen to the kind of funk you like, and try to sound like that. Other than that, I could recommend Tony Oppenhiem's "slap it" and "the funk bass program" video from Alexis Sklarevski.

Slap all of the strings for 5 minutes straight everyday straight. Soon enough you will be able to slap. Then you can learn different techniques. It works rather well. Just pick up your bass while your watchin tv, and slap each string for 5 minutes. you will improve you slapping greatly.
