Slap bass delay

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys,

I recently bought a delay pedal and I must say, it's a lot of fun to use.

Now, I'm having trouble combining a slapped backbeat with a simple lead. I've been trying for weeks but I just can't seem to wrap my mind around it.

Check at about half-way in the video, he starts to slap while playing higher notes and it sounds awesome.

Can anyone help me figure this out?

You need to work on your timing with the delay, then when you have that break down the lead part, it'll just take more in the coordination department, that's all. Practice, Practice, Practice....

It's funny, thats what I tell everyone else to do.
